My trip to New York is getting closer.
I've completed the papers to get my Passeport.
I'm so ugly on the photos. I look like 40 when I'm not even 30. T__T. I'll spare you this vision of horror.
But now, with their new rules, no make make-up, no smile, you have to pay attention to your clothes...Gah!

Next step : Ask my vacation to my boss. He already agreed but I need to set a definite date in September.

Final step : Reservation for the flight and the hotel. :DDD

Oh Lord, that was epic. I'll remember this crappy Christmas.

You know, I like to plan things. Unfortunately, nothing goes like it was planned and I so hate that.
I'm alone so I can do what I want. It's not my first Christmas alone, my mom used to work or at Xmas eve or New Year's Eve, so each year (after I stopped going to Grandma's house), I was alone for one of the Eve. I don't care, at least, I can do the things I like.
I wanted to eat Japanese for my Christmas, but before that, I had to retrieve a cooler for my laptop at a store. I should have take me one hour, it took me 2. I'll spare you the details for that part.
After greeting a friend, I was heading to the restaurant. I didn't make a reservation but he's in a calm neighborhood, so I was sure to have a place. And I was going early, around 7pm. Yeah, 7pm is early for French people. 7, it's the aperitif, we eat around 8. So, I was going early because I planned a manga marathon for my Christmas night. I arrived at the restaurant and...it was closed. Not closed for the holidays, DEFINITELY CLOSED!!! It was opened last week, they could have told us!!!!
So, I got back home because I wanted Japanese and nothing else. But I didn't do the shopping. I mean, nothing special for a Christmas Eve. I eat a dish of pasta. Yeaaaahhh!!! That's a Christmas dinner!!!
But nevermind, I still had my manga marathon. And I put my divx in the divx player. As I'm alone, I've the big TV all for myself. First episode, after 15 minutes, the evil divx player died in front of me !!!!!!!!!!!! It tried to make it work during one hour. I had to open it with a screwdriver to get back my divx.
Well, I could have watch the anime on my laptop but it was Christmas dammit!!! I deserved the big tv screen!!!!!!!
So, I watched the tv and her crappy Christmas programs. Why the programs on Christmas are always crappy, it's a mystery. Well, I found Bettlejuice on a channel, so the first movie of the night wasn't crappy but I already seen it at least 10 times.

That was my Christmas Eve.
So, I really, really hope yours was much better.

I know, I know, you must be tired to earing me make the same speech over and over about VF but, BUT.
I soooo shouldn't have bought the VF artbook !!!!
35 $ for 10 pics of Feilong and the half was already in Aya artbook. And on the others, I've EBA or Takaba with him.
Basically, it's an EBA and Takaba artbook. It's like if she put Feilong inside because she didn't get the choice. No new pictures or some of other characters, no little Tao...nothing.
Actually, as I didn't pay my order yet, I'll see if jpqueen is ok to cancel this item.

Scary movies

I watched two scary movies today.
Two French politic documentaries : "The world according to Poutine" and "The world according to Bush".
And honestly, I can't tell who's the scariest. Poutine who knows very well how to use his brain, or Bush who doesn't even know he has one.
In any case, that was really scary.

Since the last 4-5 weeks, RL was a little chaotic and overwhelming, so I wasn't really able to be in front of my computer and I know I've missed some birthday.

So to all of my friends who had their birthdays in November, Happy Birthday !!! Better be late than never
And as LJ have removed all the past dates, unless I check all the profiles one by one, I've no idea which birthdays I missed. (except for mercebymar because it's very recent).

And the other thing is pugpugsley!!!!!!
I wanted to make something special for you and even when Shelly made a special post for you in Club-Shion, I didn't have the time at the beginning and after, I've been squatting the house of a friend for 2 weeks without my laptop, so sorry.

I WANT TO GO HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn state employees! Burn in hell all of you!!!!
I’m tired. Two weeks of strike in the national transports, it’s exhausting and I can’t go home.
I’ve found a “friend” who nicely allows me to squat her house near my work but gee!!!!!!
I tried to come by car last Monday. It took me more than 4 hours to do a route I usually do in 1.
4 hours!!! I can cross the 3/4 of my country in 4 hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those damn loafers should start to go back to work soon and quickly because I’m that close to beat one. Not to death because I’m not that violent but I’m close. Very close.

A question for the American fellows in my f-list

I'm looking for US military songs but those the guys sang during the Civil War and Far-west period, I don't care about the Marines' ones.
I've found a CD named "Songs of the Civil War" with Dixie's Land, Lincoln and liberty and other stuff like Civil War propaganda songs but I'm more interested in the Military songs talking about the poor guy who left his wife and kids home and send his hole day on a horse.
Any suggestions ???

If you don't know what I'm talking about, just watch the first 2 minutes of "The horses soldiers" with John Wayne. YEAH! I love Westerns! I've the complete John Wayne collection on Dvds!!! And Clint Eastwood. Different style but it works too with me.
Put in front of me guys in uniforms riding horses and singing, I jump on them in the next 10 seconds.

I don't know who's the guy and where he comes from. He's used as background layout in Nekota Yonezou official site. The only pic on the site T__T.

I've upload you the pic since two of you requested it.
On the original, the background is white. As I found that a little "empty", I added texture for my LJ layout.
You have both version then.
