Waahhhhh! I’ll go to my first concert ever !!!! At 28 years old…I certainly took my time.

 Why so long? :

 1)      Because the Reggae concert where my brother dragged me when I was 16 and where I smoked my first joint doesn’t count.

2)      Because a lot of bands/artists suck live. Not everybody can make great concerts like U2.

3)      People who’re worth I spend my money on them make their tour usually in big big city, and my old town wasn’t that big enough. And I don’t go through the half of my country just for a concert.

 I’ll go see Rammstein. A chance I bought my ticket the first day because 3 days later, it’s already sold out.

I’m excited. But I’ll go alone. I found no one to come with me. It’s funny, last month a colleague asked us I someone wanted to come with her to the Beyoncé concert and everybody said “Me! Me!”. But when I ask for company for Rammstein, it’s “No way we’re going to a metal concert”….yeah whatever. If I’m lucky, I’ll find a man to bring home. :D

And it's in December so I've the time to calm down.

I should check my LJ more often so I wouldn't miss important date.

Heya! Long time no see.

Some of you know the reason. I bought an apartment. And except the fact that now I'm broke, I've had a lot of work to do inside before I could move into.
As I promise to show it to some of my LJ friends, here comes the pictures. Before and after.

I work in Paris but I couldn't afford to buy an apartment there. Only rich people can and I'm not rich. I'm just a single woman in the lowest rank of middle class. So I bought where I could in Paris suburb. Not as close as I wanted but it's not bad. I live in a nice little town.

After you send one car to repair because you wasn’t enough awake to pay attention to what kind of gas you put inside and your boss isn't very happy about that because this car belonged to your society (sounds funny but it’s not when it happens to you).

After you almost send a second car to repair because it started to smoke like hell and you have no idea why because you drove the same way than always in the traffic jam, and you pray your brother who owns this car never learn it.

After nothing happens like you planned it in your new apartment and you start to wonder if you shouldn’t burn it because that would solve your problems.

When you haven’t read yaoi and normal manga since almost a month, because you can’t do it with your mother in the bed next to yours and she hates manga and tells you each time you hold one in your hands.

When your kitchen arrives next monday, that it's thurday and your floor, your paintings aren't finished and you can't postpone the delivery.

Or after your dear mother, that nicely came to help you to work in your new home, missed the last stair in your apartment and sprained her ankles so she can’t help you at all now, and your dear brother, who was unemployed since 6 months just found a new job when you need him.


Or, should I just wait 2009……

Heya! I'm back from New York!

I had a great trip and the weather was really nice.
I hope those I sent received my postcard (that's of course only if you're amongst the person I've the address). (I know my Sweet Bunny got it^^).
For those who're interested, here's my impressions of my little trip. With photos of course . I've selected some from the 1614 we made (My camera and my mom's camera). Yeah, damn digital camera. And I love to take pictures, so when I visit something, I usually come back with a huge number of pictures.

My mother came to meet me up since we leave Friday for New York but someone stole her suitcase in the train (and those of some other people).
So now, for NY she just has 1 pair of jeans, 1 t-shirt, 1 vest and 1 pantie and her shoes. That’s nice. She’s happy. Well, we’ll buy just what's required here and the rest in New York.

But I also ask her to bring some stuff that belongs to me.
Like 2 skirts she was suppose to make for me since 2 years. Looks like I’ll never have them.
And my Collector DVDs’ of “The Lord of the Ring”….

I AM SO PISSED!!!!

If I ever find the asshole who dares to stole my collector dvds, oh he’ll so regret it!

And to quote my mother: “Can’t you buy them again Darling?”
I think my mother doesn’t get the “concept” of collector.

Use as acronym : The "National Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order" call themself NAFRA. It's shorter, I can understand that. So now I'm link with monks.
It also means National Flood risk assessment aka NaFRA.

But it's also a real word in Occitan, meaning wound or gash. That's more like me.

Come on, tell me! I'll be there for a week, 19-26 September. 2008 of course.
If you want to see me in flesh and blood (and are not afraid of that), it's the opportunity.
I bought my guide, now I've to read the 200 pages...Arfff. And prepare my planning for the week. A chance I can buy tickets online. I'll spend less time in the lines.

Oh, I'll learn a new concept there. "Shared bathroom". I had NO idea this kind of thing existed in hotels. We don't have that in France except in camping. One bathroom for and entire floor. You start to have private bathroom with 3 stars hotels and that was too high for my budget.
I'm already scared. Did I told you I'm a little maniac about cleanliness ? No. Well I am. Who's going to travel with her bleach and her gloves? I think that'll be me.
Let's say, it'll be an experience of life. A good one I hope. o_~
